Workshops by Firefly Garden Club

drop-in gardening & nature play workshops for ~4+ years

22 US dollars
Villages Clubhouse

What do we do?

Gardening and nature play provide so many benefits for children; from encouraging healthy eating to providing sensory development opportunities and much more! Each session is tailored to a specific activity that will support play and creativity while incorporating nature and gardening. From mini fairy-themed gardens that encourage imagination and autonomy, to STEM-focused projects like Bug Hotels that spark curiosity.  All materials and equipment will be provided. Parents and kiddos will be led through a gardening activity together and will leave with a completed project and the knowledge of how to care for and apply what was learned from the session. Spring Drop In Dates: 3/12: Bird Homes & Garden Gnomes 3/26: Dirt Detectives 4/9: Happy Herbs 4/23: Pollinator Pals Workshops are suitable for all ages and skill levels, though some sessions may allow kiddos to be more self-reliant around the ages of 4+ and require a bit more parental assistance for younger ages. Firefly Garden Club workshops are led by Cierra Edwards.
